Hi, I am Lawrie, I have started this blog to help others who might be struggling to get support and answers, in 2023 I was offered a job as a peer support worker and in 2024 my mental health took such a downwards turn I did not want to be alive, now after over 100 suicide attempts / self harm incidents and dealings with the emergency services and others in society, I do want to live, I do want to get better but for me its hard to communicate at the best of times – Its not just mental health (I wish) I am also a type one diabetic – 4 years in, also I have learning disabilities and autism plus a genetic disorder Klinefelters syndrome too – 47XXY.

I find my hobbies are important, I am a Licenced Radio Amateur (Ham), also a keen multi award winning Cornish Landscape Photographer, also I enjoy blogging, website design and urban exploration too. I enjoy being with my family and friends. – I feel supported at last but its taken a very long time to get to this position. (26th November 2025)

Update: I spoke to soon, lol, less than a week. The local CMHT are full of false promises, plus think ive upset my support worker too, oh well, I mean c’mon its not like they were not warned what 18+ months a go my mental health was taking a drastic decline, still I am not allowing any more upset for my poor mum and her friends and neighbours etc, I plan to just go completely quiet and detached. I want to be on my own – at least I can’t upset anyone then – there’s no point in trying to email or call me, its all gone – the sim card is somewhere between here at France – aka the bottom of the river Tamar, im not a litter bug. – 2nd November 2025. – If you want to get better, you never will – its the nut cases and those with previous form aka prison time clogging up the mental health clinics, those who need the support can’t get it. I dont know about you but im no longer asking for help.
